Galway Cycle Tag Rugby Blitz 30th January
The Maynooth Student's for Charity - Galway Cycle 2010 are organising a Tag Rugby Blitz on the last Saturday (30th) of January!
The entry cost for the tag rugby blitz is €80 per team of maximum of 12 players if registered before the 17th of January - €100 thereafter. The matches are going to be held from 12pm onwards and will be played on a mixture of astro and grass pitches at NUI Maynooth. There will be full changing room facilities and we're planning a night out afterwards in Maynooth. Entries are limited so be sure to register as soon as possible to reserve your place. For those of you that can't field a full team, we're will try to pair up teams/players that are interested.

Carol Singing and GC2009 Video
The Galway Cycle 2010 is calling all the singers and musicians out there! The next fundraising event is a carol singing event in Donadea Forest park on the 19th December! A plethora of percussion instruments have been obtained for those of you better at bashing that singing, and anyone who can play instruments of their own are welcome to join in. The event is running from 2-4pm on the 19th and we are looking for anyone availalbe to come along, sing a few christmas favourites, shake buckets, and take part in the fun. The videos page also has videos from previous years of the cycle and its a brilliant way to get a taste of what to expect from Galway Cycle 2010. It's also a chance for those of you looking to reminisce on the good times from last March!
Online Forum now available
A forum has been set up on the new Galway Cycle 2010 website for people to ask questions, sell/swop equipment, organise training meetups, post suggestions etc. Its available here! Feel free to start posting your views on the Galway Cycle, or just have a browse of the posts already made! :)
Table Quiz a super success!
Tuesday nights table quiz was a roaring first success for the Galway Cycle 2010 committee! The quiz and accompanying raffle raised over €1500 euro for the NBCRI...an impressive total for one night of fundraising, so congratulations to all of the organizers!
Many thanks to the local businesses and people who sponsored the table quiz by generously donating amazing prizes for the quiz and raffle!
