Hello all!
It's 2 days to go to the extraordinary Galway Cycle 2010 - Tag Rugby blitz!!! The countdown is on and we've gotten everything ready (we hope!). We have balls, pitch markers, tags, extra tag shorts ( lent to us by the sound guys at ITRA) and refs (could probably do with an extra one or two if anyone is willing and able - get in contact with us.. there might be a drink or two in it for ya!).
Where to go:
The blitz is being played on the pitches at the back of the new campus (North) of NUI Maynooth.

Timetable
12.00 - Intro to tag
12.30 - team registration / player registration
1.00 - Kickoff!!!
3.15 - start of finals
4.30 - Final!!!

What you need to bring:
Tag shorts: if you have them, bring them! If not, we have pair here you can put a €10 deposit on - which you'll get back once you return the shorts.
Team T-shirt: it'd be nice to wear the same colour...
Your registration fee: €100 per team, €80 per team if registered before the deadline. €10 per player otherwise. All proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) in Galway.

Spot Prizes:
There'll be some random prizes for highlights during the day including best try, best tag, best team haka and more. The Magners pro-fan of the year is gonna be down with his camera guy (www.bulmers.ie/profan).
